Welcome! I created this site because I saw a need for a online coaching platform for both athletes and the general public because of COVID-19.
If you’re an athlete, there is uncertainty about how schools and colleges will handle education in a safe and effective way. This may limit your time being in the weight room, or your sport may be canceled all together (I really hope that won’t be the case). However, you still need to get your training in so that when the time calls, you can perform at your absolute best and stay healthy.
If you’re a part of the general public who lives an active lifestyle or even if you’re just starting out, you may feel unsafe going to a gym or perhaps your gym closed down due to lack of business. Regardless, getting your training in has become much more difficult and unless you have a background in exercise science and training, it may be hard to figure out how to train effectively to reach your goals without a trainer or coach. That’s where I come in.
I provide three basic services:
- Training programs for middle school, high school, and college athletes to reduce injuries and enhance performance;
- Training programs for the general population to improve fitness and wellness whether it’s at home or your local gym;
- Education about training, nutrition, and sleep through blogs, videos, and presentations from myself or various experts in their related fields.
Coaching Philosophy
I try to keep my philosophy simple:
Develop student athletes physically and mentally to reduce injuries and optimize performance. Not only will student athletes be expected to train physical strength, power, and speed, but to grow and learn real life skills that will carry on outside the weight room and school. Being on time, developing communication skills, and improving confidence will ensure successful athletic and personal careers.
What you will see in my programs are these main components: Speed work, change of direction and agility work, plyometrics, olympic weightlifting or explosive movements, squat, hinge, upper body press, and upper body pull. All these components will increase your speed, agility, power, and strength, in order to reduce injuries and enhance performance!
When it comes to personal training with clients, I incorporate my plyometrics, squat, hinge, upper press and upper pull concept along with mobility and stability work to help you reach your personal goals, stay injury free, and assist the healing process with any past injuries you may have. *Please consult your doctor before starting a fitness program.
